• Contacts – used only to allow you to select people and associate saved items with them.

How Contact Data Is Used

Contact information is used exclusively on your device to support app functionality.

Emske:

• Does not collect contact data
• Does not transmit contact data off your device
• Does not store contact data on external servers
• Does not share contact data with third parties
• Does not sell or monetize personal information

All contact access is performed locally on your device.

Analytics

Emske uses Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to collect anonymous usage data to help improve the App. This includes:

• Anonymous event counts (e.g., app opened, item saved, item deleted)
• Device information (device model, operating system version)
• App version and crash reports

No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected. Specifically:

• Your saved links and URLs are not sent to analytics
• Domain names of your links are not sent to analytics
• Link contents and titles are not sent to analytics
• Contact names are not sent to analytics

Only aggregate event counts (how many times certain actions occur) are tracked.

Data Storage and Security

All your items and notes are stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. Emske does not upload your personal data to any server.

User Control

You can:

• Grant or revoke contact access at any time via your device settings
• Continue using the App with limited functionality if access is denied
• Disable analytics by turning off "Share usage data" in your device settings

Children's Privacy

Emske does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
